Volunteer with Us!
For the past six years, our annual gala has been the heartbeat of Team CJ Colas Uterine Cancer Foundation—fueling the programs that support Black women and their families through the fight of their lives. The Gala is our main source of unrestricted operating funds, raising more than $38,000 annually so that we can continue our vital work in the Nashville community.
This year, our founder CJ’s health has made it impossible for us to host our annual event, but funds are needed now more than ever to support our Cancer Warriors.
While this is a difficult moment for our village, it also highlights why our work is so urgently needed: to surround women with care, compassion, and resources as they navigate cancer treatment.
Cuts to cancer research, healthcare, and the social safety net means that our survivors' needs are only increasing. That’s why we are launching our first End of Year Friendraising Drive. We need to raise $33,000 to make up for the funding gap left by our canceled gala, and ensure that no family in Nashville has to face cancer alone.
Your gift can have an incredible impact:
-
$50 provides safe transportation to one radiation treatment.
-
$150 covers childcare for a full day of chemotherapy, so a mother can focus on healing.
-
$300 funds a support group session for survivors lead by a licensed mental health counselor
-
$500 sends a child touched by cancer to two weeks of TeamCJColas Summer Camp.
Every dollar goes directly to lifting the burdens of treatment and building a village of care around our cancer warriors. Together, we can make sure over 300 cancer patients and their families continue to receive the support they deserve this year.
